For the first half of my life, all I could see was music, words and my voice with them. I spent years putting together the endless combinations of the three to work through my different emotional states ~ mostly having to do with boys and my childhood. It was a profound therapy for me. And I loved it. I still do.
Upon signing with a major publishing label, they felt given my voice and writing style, I would do well to write a children’s album. I was never so insulted in my life. I was a serious, adult singer ~ songwriter. Turns out, it was the best album I have ever written, I am so proud to say. It is for the child within everyone of us.
Warning: Children and adults should listen at their own risk. Both will want to play it over and over to the point you may come to vehemently dislike me.
